An ancient technique based upon the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet that correspond to the different body organs and their associated systems.
By applying pressure to each area on the foot, the corresponding body part is accessed, including all internal organs and glands.
The body’s own natural healing process is activated by applying specific pressures to the feet using thumb, finger and hand techniques.

Reflexology - what is it?
Reflexology is used to relieve tension and restore energy flow throughout the body by clearing away any energetic blockages.
This helps to restore balance, promote natural healing and improve health. Stress and pain levels may be reduced as a result of this.
The delivery of oxygen and nutrients to the cells is enhanced as reflexology improves circulation also.
Foot Reflexology shifts the nervous system to the parasympathetic nervous system where the body “rests and digests.” This parasympathetic state is also where the body restores and renews itself.
There are over 7000 nerve endings in the feet and these are connected to the entire body through the central nervous system.
Reflexology was practiced from as far back as 2330BC.
Zone therapy is the basis of reflexology today.
It does not matter what age you are - anyone can have a foot reflexology session.
It is great for babies to help soothe them and provide relief from pain.
For all ages - The physical touch creates relaxation and a sense of nurturing that goes beyond words .
It is a gentle treatment on the feet where you remain clothed and lay on a massage table.
At the beginning of the session some warm up movements are performed on both feet to stimulate blood flow and introduce you to my touch.
Continuing on from that, I work on the toes and then gradually descend to the heel.
The inner and outer edges of the feet are next, followed by some specific points that relate to various key organs and glands.
The head and neck area is found on the toes.
The thoracic area is represented in the area from the bottom of the toes to the base of the ball of the foot.
The digestive system and associated organs are located below the thoracic region down to the top of the heel area.
Below that is the pelvic region.
The inside edge of the foot represents the spine and the outer edge of the foot includes the shoulders, arms, hip and knees.
The sole of the foot corresponds to the front of the body and the top of the foot, to the back of the body.
My husband is somewhat a skeptic when it comes to natural therapies and Lisa has performed Reflexology on him and he couldn't believe how good he felt afterwards. He suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure and heart issues and after receiving the reflexology for weeks after he said he felt so much better in himself
